Dumpster Rental Terms & Conditions
By booking a dumpster rental with Bigfoot Site Services (operating under Bigfoot Branding LLC), you ("the Customer") agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies ensure safe, legal transport, equipment protection, and transparent pricing.
*Note: Exceptions to these standard terms and conditions can be made and documented depending on individual customer or project needs. Each individual job will operate under an explicitly agreed-upon contract that both parties must sign prior to equipment delivery.*
1. Base Rental & Extension Limits
-
Base Rental: The standard base rental fee includes the delivery of a driveway-safe roll-off dumpster, pickup, standard landfill tipping fees, and up to 3 days of dwelling time on your property.
-
Daily Extension Limit: Starting on Day 4, an extension fee of $20.00 per day will be automatically applied and billed to the credit card on file.
-
Maximum Extension Policy: Dumpster extensions are strictly limited to a maximum of 3 additional days (6 total days on-site). On Day 7, the extension period expires, and a new rental period will begin automatically at the standard base rate.
-
The "Refresh" (Dump & Return): If you need an empty bin before or at the end of your rental period, we will swap out your full bin for an empty one for a flat rate ($230.00 for B2B / $265.00 for Residential), which resets your timeline and weight allowance.
2. Weight Allowances & Overweight Fees
-
Your base rental includes up to 1.5 tons of standard municipal or construction/demolition (C&D) waste.
-
Overweight Fee: Any weight exceeding the 1.5-ton allowance will be billed at $90.00 per ton, prorated precisely to the certified landfill weight ticket. If your bin is overweight, the card on file will be charged automatically for the difference.
3. Strict Material Restrictions & Loading Guidelines
-
Fill Line: Debris MUST NOT exceed the top edge of the dumpster. We must be able to securely tarp the load for safe, legal highway transport.
-
Strictly Prohibited Items: Hazardous waste, wet paint, tires, car batteries, chemicals, motor oil, freon appliances (refrigerators/AC units), and asbestos. Mattresses are accepted but incur a $30.00 per item landfill recycling surcharge.
-
No Heavy Masonry or Dirt: Loading heavy materials such as concrete, brick, cinderblock, asphalt, or dirt is strictly prohibited. These materials critically exceed the safe lifting capacity of our winch systems. Bins loaded with masonry or dirt will be rejected on-site, and a $150.00 Dry Run Fee will be charged.
4. Equipment Liability & Relocation
-
Bin Damage Liability: The Customer assumes full responsibility for any damage to the dumpster while it is on-site (excluding normal wear and tear). This includes, but is not limited to, damage caused by heavy machinery, fire, or misuse. The Customer will be billed for the full cost of repairs.
-
Unauthorized Movement: Under no circumstances may the dumpster be moved, pushed, or relocated by anyone other than an authorized Bigfoot Site Services driver. Attempting to drag or move the bin with personal heavy equipment (skid steers, tractors, trucks) is strictly prohibited.
5. Compliance & Additional Liabilities
-
Offloading Excess Weight: If a bin is loaded to the point that it exceeds the safe legal hauling limits or the lifting capacity of our heavy-duty winch system, the driver will not attempt to load it. The Customer is solely responsible for manually offloading the excess material until it reaches a safe level. A $150.00 Dry Run Fee will apply for the failed pickup attempt.
-
Hidden Contraband Fines: If prohibited items (tires, batteries, wet paint, chemicals) are hidden beneath standard debris and result in fines or rejected loads at the landfill, the exact fine amount plus a $50.00 administrative handling fee will be automatically billed to your account.
-
Permits & HOA Approvals: The Customer is fully responsible for securing any necessary city right-of-way permits or subdivision HOA approvals required for bin placement. Bigfoot Site Services is not liable for any neighborhood fines, citations, or forced removals resulting from unauthorized placement.
6. Property Damage & Driveway Waiver
-
Trucks and loaded dumpsters are extremely heavy. While our drivers are highly trained and take every precaution (including placing protective wood blocks under the bin rollers), Bigfoot Site Services is not liable for damage to driveways, concrete, asphalt, grass, landscaping, or underground utilities (sprinklers, septic tanks, pipes). By renting this equipment, the customer assumes all risk of property damage caused by the weight of the truck and/or dumpster during normal delivery and retrieval operations.
7. Accessibility & Dry Run Fees
-
The dumpster area must be completely clear of vehicles, gates, and debris on the scheduled delivery, swap, and pickup days.
-
If our driver arrives and cannot safely access, drop, or retrieve the bin due to site obstructions, a $150.00 Dry Run Fee will be automatically charged to cover our time, fuel, and lost routing efficiency.
8. Payment Authorization
By completing your booking, checking the agreement box at checkout, or submitting a digital signature, the Customer authorizes Bigfoot Site Services (Bigfoot Branding LLC) to charge the credit card on file for the base rental, as well as any incurred daily extension fees, overweight tonnage fees, dry run fees, or hidden contraband surcharges outlined in this agreement.
